Personal Profile

MECHAlily is the name that I use when creating artwork.

It is a moniker but also a creative ideology. It is a material through-line between all that I create. It is a method for creating my dreams.

At its heart the name exemplifies the need to explore the point of intersection between the natural and unnatural through my work.

I am a mixed media artist from Mid City, Los Angeles. Growing up in such a diverse city, I was exposed to a plethora of cultures and communities from an early age, which helped me to develop a global understanding of both society and art making. As I have traveled to Chicago for University and out into the wider world I have strived to develop that sensibility and cultivate global perspectives in my practice.

My work explores the intersections of culture, identity, and technology, often blending traditional techniques with contemporary materials. Through fictional world building, I aim to reflect the dynamic, ever-evolving nature of the real human experience.
