The Last Porphyrean

You are marooned on a forest planet after losing track of your expedition team. They let you know that in a weeks time they will be able to return to pick you up at a rendesvous site a couple miles from where you are. Early on into your journey to the rendesvous site you notice something in the distance that looks like a gigantic person who has melted into the side of the mountain. As you traverse the landscape and get closer to the body you realize that the being is in fact a massive humanoid spaceship that is the size of a city. You decide to explore this ship, hoping to find resources and shelter for the week, only to also uncover an entire history as well.

"The Last Porphyrean" is a series of pieces inspired by a journey through the carcass of a once mighty being. It was inspired by looking at the "MECHAlily" brand name as a concept by looking at a space where mechanical and floral life exist in unison.

Along your journey you uncover life modules from the ships storage unit. These modules were meant to be transportable modular designs for the ships inhabitants. Of the modules that are still usuable on the ship, you find:

a nourishment module: two tea blends meant to replace your food intake for the day
a luminary module: a lamp made to light a space while keeping humans interacting with plant life during their journey through the stars
a music module: this module can be used to create a musical experience by reading the electrical signals from plants.
